People who take their religion seriously tend to be rather up tight. Too often we find people worshiping their religion instead of God. This attitude of “my religion is right and yours is wrong” has provided mankind with much sorrow, from inquisitions to violent wars. God may be called by many names… Allah, Christ, Krishna, the Uncaused Cause, etc. But is It not the same God? Is it a cosmic joke that the human species beats itself up over whose name is correct for the same thing? Wouldn’t it be nice if humans would lighten up and love all peoples as brothers and sisters? After all, every one on earth is a child of God. If people would stop worshiping their religion, and worship their concept of God the world would be a lot more peaceful. |
